We are reminded and encouraged by this passage in Psalm 121, which says:
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
We are in prayer, as we know you are, for the thousands of families that are in dire need of practical assistance. The
Church of the King facility will be used as a strategic point of contact for serving our area.
God is giving us an unprecedented “opportunity” and responsibility to serve and “do good to all” in our community in a profound way through PRC Compassion. The Apostle Paul said in Galatians 6:10 “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
