PRC COMPASSION ANSWERS THE CALL-PROVIDES RELIEF TO THOUSANDS
BATON ROUGE, LA.-PRC compassion is involved in a massive relief effort in South Louisiana through a network of local, state and national pastors, as well as faith-based organizations nationally.
AT THIS TIME, PRC Compassion team members are traveling to some of the points in greatest need to provide food and water for refugees, including
the New Orleans Airport, which is now a makeshift hospital and refugee camp. Another team is in route to the New Orleans Convention Centre with food, water, and blankets.
10,000 MEALS will be delivered today to the thousands of people stranded on I-10 and Airline Hwy.
AS OF TODAY, 70 18-wheeler trucks have either been distributed or on their way from various points in the country through the PRC compassion network, with dozens more being added to the pipeline daily. Trucks are
being routed to the greatest points of need.
LIVINGSTON PARISH PRESIDENT in conjunction with the parish OEP office has asked PRC Compassion to provide resources for their existing shelters as of today.
TODAY, 200 PRC Compassion team members with chainsaws are clearing the streets of ST. TAMMANY PARISH.
PRC Compassion is providing resources to more than 40 shelters in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area.
