Dear Rev. Mills,
Words fail me to express my joy in what the PRC has done for the members of the African Christian Fellowship (ACF), New Orleans. It is, no doubt, a major event in the ever-increasing miracles that our God has wrought for us at the Center. Pastor John and the team of about 50 men, women, and young adults, brethren from New Jersey, under the auspices of the PRC, descended over several New Orleans flood-damaged churches like Angels on assignment: hammering, plastering, chiseling, etc., rebuilding churches, and rebuilding our spirits over the Christmas-New Year holidays. They replaced the gutted sheet rock and insulation in our buildings.
My wife and I have just returned from a short trip to Houston (last weekend) during which we visited and encouraged some of our members who are as uncertain about returning to New Orleans as the powers that be are about HOW, IF, and WHEN New Orleans will be rebuilt. That notwithstanding, our reconstruction effort is continuing, and your help is still needed in any, or all of the following areas such as electrical, plumbing, plastering, painting, and audio-visual.
May I express my sincere gratitude to you and the PRC for the help that we have received thus far. Thank you for your dynamic leadership, and compassionate heart for hard-pressed Body of Christ in the New Orleans metropolis, and other areas. Thank you for being such a great instrument of ministration in God's hands at such a time as this. Pastor Dennis and Celebration Church are helping to replace our flood damaged chairs. We are grateful to them also. Thank God for helping us all to press on with the work of the Kingdom in the face of unimaginable challenges that we face at this time.
May God bless you richly for your labor of love.
Yours in His service,
Bro. Cliff Obih, President, ACF New Orleans.
